HISTORY
FreshWind Oy is a Finnish expert company that designs and delivers energy-efficient high-pressure misting systems for demanding industrial and facility environments. At the core of our operations is a solution tailored to the customer’s needs – the right system for the right application.
The company’s story dates back to 2006, when a completely new type of cooling and humidification solution was developed for a customer seeking to reduce production costs. The result was a system that replaced a 4-megawatt steam humidifier with just a 7-kilowatt FreshWind solution – cutting energy consumption to a fraction. The system paid for itself within the first month of operation.
The first system was built in collaboration with leading industry partners, leveraging decades of expertise in process and specialized HVAC design. From the very beginning, the system has included Danfoss high-pressure pumps, known for their top-class performance and durability. FreshWind Oy is also an official distributor and service partner for Danfoss high-pressure components in Finland.
FreshWind Oy was officially established in 2014, focusing under its own name on the production, development, and sales of these systems. The company has over ten years of experience delivering FreshWind systems and more than 30 years of expertise in ventilation and climate solutions for various industrial sectors.
